Dr. Emily Bick was recently awarded the International Date Palm Award in Saudi Arabia, presented by the National Center for Palms and Dates at the Sixth International Date Palm Conference and Exhibition, where she gave the plenary address. The prize recognizes innovation research supporting the date palm industry. Dr. Bick was recognized for her work on the Insect Eavesdropper and the development of sensor technology in pest management. Congratulations to Emily!
