About me:
I grew up in Massachusetts and first found a love for agroecology working on a small dairy farm in Vermont in high school. Ever since, I’ve been exploring my passion for food systems. My experiences working on conventional and organic diversified vegetable farms, researching soil carbon storage, writing policy briefings for the Pesticide Action Network, and coordinating educational and community-building events for the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont have led me to pursue an Agroecology M.S. degree at UW Madison, with a focus on integrated pest management (IPM).
I am excited to be a part of the Guedot lab, where I will research IPM methods in hemp. I am broadly interested in developing IPM methods to address the needs of growers to support a regenerative, socially just, and economically sustainable food system.
In my free time, I love cooking, finding streams to swim in, working on fiber art projects, printmaking, hiking, and gardening.
