Research:
I am broadly interested in the use of ecological knowledge and training to create sustainable agricultural ecosystems and encourage public education of ecosystem services. My research focuses on the potential benefits of cover crops to provide food and shelter for beneficial insects such as pollinators and ground beetles. I am also involved with the WiBee project, and am interested in using citizen science and data visualization to make current scientific research more accessible to the public.
