Broadly, I plan to study colony ontogeny and collective behavior in bumble bees, and how their life histories shape their responses to a rapidly changing environment. Currently, I am interested in exploring the population-level differences in a bumble bee colony’s response to stressors such as climate extremes and pesticide exposure.
