    Research Focus

I explore the connections between people and their environment, focusing on landscape ecology, landscape changes, and ecosystem services. At the Crall Lab, I study how microclimatic and habitat differences affect wild pollinators and their pollination potential. Using the BumbleBox behavioral tracking system and computer vision tools, I investigate how factors like temperature, humidity, flash floods and specific nest location influence bumblebee activity, foraging, and colony growth.
