Research interests
My research interests focus on insect chemical ecology, particularly plant–insect interactions and pheromonal communication. I am also broadly interested in the biological control of insect pests using predators, parasitoids, and entomopathogens.
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, my current work focuses on the use of semiochemicals (pheromones and kairomones) to implement monitoring, mass trapping, and mating disruption strategies for the management of codling moth (Cydia pomonella) in apple orchards. I am also investigating the integration of biological control agents for the management of Lepidopteran pests in apple orchards.
