    Education:
M.S. Land Resources and Environmental Science, Montana State University (2020)
M.A. Curriculum and Instruction, University of Colorado-Boulder (2011)
B.A. Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, University of Colorado-Boulder (2009)

    Research interests:
I am interested in the chemical defenses of conifers and how they are influenced by abiotic and biotic stress. My dissertation investigates how drought alters tree allocation of carbon toward foliar and volatile terpenoid metabolites, and the subsequent implications for tree‑bark beetle interactions.

    Personal interests:
In addition to my research, I enjoy hiking, skiing, and cooking, especially in the company of my four-legged friend, Beau.
