Research Interests
I am concerned with the health and conservation of native bumble bees. My goal is to further our understanding of bee nesting and habitat requirements so that we can support pollinators through land use and agricultural practices. Before coming to Wisconsin, I received my degree in biology from Swarthmore College and previously worked as a honey bee field research assistant at Tufts University and a Lepidoptera collections assistant in the Harvard Museum of Comparative Zoology.
