2025 Insect Fest a big hit at Olbrich Gardens
Last Friday (August 1st), UW-Entomology and Olbrich Botanical Gardens hosted the 2025 Wisconsin Insect Fest, which drew hundreds of attendees from the Madison area, Wisconsin, and beyond. The 2025 Wisconsin Insect Fest featured 9 talks, guided walking tours, and activities led by insect experts and 10 entomology-themed booths. Insect Fest ran concurrently with Olbrich’s Blooming Butterfly Exhibit and Butterfly Action Day and drew strong crowds with visitors coming in all afternoon long. A huge thanks to Olbrich Botanical Gardens for partnering with us to host the 2025 Insect Fest event. Some photos from the event are shared below:
