Research in the lab is focused on understanding how the dynamics of arthropod food webs are influenced by landscapes structure, management and invasive species. Ongoing research exemplifies the various scales, systems and approaches we take to address fundamental ecological questions in community ecology as they apply to agriculture, conservartion, and native habitats.
Current Research focuses on three general areas:
Previous research:
- Invasive species and restoration
- Salt-marsh food web interactions
- Ecology of host-shifts in herbivorous insects
