Research Interest

Insect Biochemistry

Our laboratory is interested in the physiological, biochemical and molecular aspects of insect endocrinology. The major ongoing projects include:

1. An analysis of the physiological roles of the hemolymph juvenile hormone binding protein
2. The molecular structure of the hemolymph juvenile hormone binding protein
3. The molecular action of juvenile hormone on gene expression.

Special Requirements: Students should have a background and strong interest in development, biochemistry, or molecular biology.
